If your MHS 9th -11th grade student took pictures today, and they had money but forgot to turn it in (or maybe you forgot to send your picture money), please have your student take it to the office or turn it into Mrs. Fish in room 36 no later than tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10th. Ms. Harris' World History class took their first unit exam today, and seventh period celebrated their success and the end of Unit 1 by playing Geography Bingo. Way to go, Panthers!
If your MHS 9th -11th grade student took pictures today, and they had money but forgot to turn it in (or maybe you forgot to send your picture money), please have your student take it to the office no later than Friday.
Picture day at MHS for grades 9th - 11th (and faculty too) is on September 4 in the Panther Arena. Students will go with their English class to the arena to have pictures made. PIctures may be ordered from the form that was sent home or by going to www.lifetouch.com
There will be a make up day on October 17th.

Ever wondered what your trash says about you? Our marketing and retail students just completed an exercise in customer profiling using an unexpected source—household “trash”! From clean trash, receipts, and junk mail, students analyzed everyday items from seven anonymous households to create detailed customer profiles. It’s fascinating how everyday items can reveal so much about customer preferences and help us understand different market segments! This hands-on activity demonstrated the power of market research and segmentation.

Ms. Harris' World History enhanced both their literacy skills and social studies knowledge with a cross-curricular assignment where each student developed and wrote their own code of laws followed by a hands-on connection to ancient Mesopotamia by practicing cuneiform etching in clay!
