Magnolia FFA students got to teach 2nd graders about the importance of farming. They learned that milk doesn’t just come from the store and that chicken nuggets do not come from cows like many of them thought. 😊 We also found that we may have some future teachers in the bunch!

Magnolia Panthers and Lady Panthers will travel to Bentonville Thursday for the 4A-1A State Swim Meet. The team will practice on Friday morning at the Bentonville Community Center Facility. The 4A-1A meet will be the afternoon meet on Saturday, and will begin at 3:30 pm. Magnolia High School will send off the team from the Panther Arena parking lot 10:00 am on Thursday morning. The community is invited to come out and cheer on the Panthers and Lady Panthers as they head to the state meet.

A great day today for Seniors!!!! Students were challenged today with real life scenarios. Everything from writing a check to balancing a budget and managing households!!! Lots of great feedback from them today on the activities!!! Thank you to all the volunteers that made this possible for our students!! MHS Teacher Cadet, Blake Prince, led a “number talk” today in Mrs. Dees’s 3rd grade class at Eastside today.
A “number talk” is a mathematics discussion where students discuss strategies for solving an equation they have been given.
