Ever wondered what your trash says about you? Our marketing and retail students just completed an exercise in customer profiling using an unexpected source—household “trash”! From clean trash, receipts, and junk mail, students analyzed everyday items from seven anonymous households to create detailed customer profiles. It’s fascinating how everyday items can reveal so much about customer preferences and help us understand different market segments! This hands-on activity demonstrated the power of market research and segmentation.

This year marks our 100th edition and will be a vibrant reflection of our amazing school community, and your photos can help make it unforgettable. We're looking for pictures of: School Events: Capture the energy of the football game, the excitement of the science fair, or the joy of the school play! Student Activities: Share photos of clubs, sports teams, student government, or any other student-led initiatives. School Spirit: Show off everyone representing our school colors, traditions, and pride! Candid Moments: Did you catch a heartwarming interaction between friends, a student's moment of triumph, or a hilarious classroom scene? Share it! How to Submit Your Photos: Visit our dedicated yearbook photo upload site: https://photos.jostens.com/88ARAN or Scan the QR code Create an account (or log in if you already have one). Upload your photos. Important: Tag the people in your photos! This helps us identify everyone and ensure proper recognition in the yearbook. School-appropriate content only. All content is reviewed by yearbook staff. Anything inappropriate will be deleted. Don't use photos with filters, logos, or hand gestures. Tomorrow is our next flex competition. Which team has the most Panther Spirit?

Ms. Kayla Walker made the move from MMS to the Freshman Academy this year to teach Mathematics. Ms. Walker loves to travel and spend time with her family (and her child Simba who some think is just a dog but is actually her baby, haha). We are excited to have her at MHS this school year!

More from our first flex team challenge!

Mrs. Fish's computer science classes learned about Pair Programming today. Students learned about communication, teamwork, listening, and being specific. Pair programming teaches students to work with others by helping them to not just give the answers or do the work for others, but to point or direct them in the right direction.

Mrs. Richardsons ceramic classes are finishing up their first project this week, pinch pots!

Interested in Panther Disc Golf? Join us next week at the Middle School Cafeteria for an informational meeting.
