Proud of these three MHS Chamber choir students (Clemente Saenz, Keshunti Brantley, and Reece Gee) who wrote and recorded a 30-second radio ad at the KVMA studio this morning.

Thank you for being flexible as we've navigated teaching in a pandemic this semester! We've had to adapt and adjust, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue to teach and connect with students even though it looks different. We'd like to begin second semester with clear expectations for students, parents, and teachers so that all our students can be successful. Please review these documents and know that deadlines for assignments will be enforced and students are responsible for getting work completed on time and communicating with teachers. We hope you all have a Merry Christmas! https://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/1047765/MHS_and_FA_Quarantine_Expectations.pdf

MAGNOLIA SCHOOL DISTRICT CONTINUES REMOTE LEARNING FRIDAY
The Magnolia School District will continue Remote Learning Friday during the spring semester for students in grades K-12. The first Remote Learning Friday of the semester will be January 8, 2021.
The purpose of Remote Learning Friday is to allow teachers time to work specifically with virtual students and to plan and prepare lessons for virtual and on-site students. This will benefit all students because it will improve the quality of instruction for both options.
Parents are reminded that buses will not run morning or evening routes. Breakfast and lunch will be served on each campus for students in attendance and for those who just come on campus for meals.
Walker Pre-K will remain open on its regular schedule; however, buses will not run. Parents will need to bring students to Walker Pre-K in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon.
For Remote Learning Plans for each school, please visit www.magnoliaschools.net.

MHS alumni, remember the Santas you made in Mrs. Hicks’s art class? These were made this year. Share pics if you still have yours!
