Former MHS graduate, Jeremy Hambrice visited with Mrs. Hamilton’s and Mr. Wootten’s 10th grade English classes to share his experience in working with the Wantakian people in Papua New Guinea. The 10th graders have been studying several texts on encountering other cultures.

Megan Haire teaches Academic and Critical Reading at MHS Freshman Academy! Mrs. Haire says, "I wanted to be an educator to have the opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact on young people's lives each and every day. I want to continue to pass on the positive impact that many of my teachers had on my life. I wanted young people to know that they have a teacher who cares for them and wants to see them succeed."
