KIYA DERRICK AWARDED DERRICK BERRY JR. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP Magnolia High School senior, Kiya Derrick, was recently awarded the first Derrick Berry, Jr. Memorial Scholarship. The Derrick Berry family working in conjunction with the Magnolia Boys & Girls Club presented the $1,000 scholarship to Kiya. Free athletic physicals are scheduled for next Tuesday, May 14th. Transportation will be provided if needed for incoming 7th & current 7th/8th grade athletes at the end of 7th period from the Middle School, and parents will be responsible for pick-up @ Panther Arena. Physical forms will be sent home this week, and the medical history page must be completed and signed by parent/guardian before arriving. Addison Anderson Receives Mary Brown Florence Scholarship Magnolia High School senior, Addison Anderson, is the recipient of the 2024 Mary Brown Florence Scholarship. The amount of the award is $1,100, which will be sent to the school of Addison’s choice. The criteria for this award, which was established in 1998, includes cumulative GPA, number of AP courses taken, ACT score, extracurricular activities, and participation in athletics or band.
