Magnolia Panther Marching Band Qualifies for Arkansas State Marching Contest
Magnolia, Arkansas — The Magnolia High School Panther Marching Band is headed to STATE! Following a successful performance at the Region Marching Assessment, the Panther Band has earned qualifying scores to advance to the Arkansas State Marching Contest, where it will compete in the 5A Division.
The Panther Band will take the field at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 4:15 p.m., joining marching bands from across Arkansas for the statewide competition.
Originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, the Arkansas State Marching Contest has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 10, due to the forecasted possibility of rain.
Qualifying for the State Marching Contest is a significant accomplishment for the Panther Band and reflects the dedication, discipline, and countless hours of preparation invested by its student musicians, color guard members, and directors.
Throughout the marching season, these students have worked to perfect their musical performances, marching formations, and visual presentations. Their success at the Region Marching Assessment demonstrates the hard work and commitment required to perform at a competitive level.
The opportunity to compete at War Memorial Stadium provides the Panther Band with another chance to showcase its talent, musicianship, and teamwork while representing Magnolia High School on the state stage.
