Magnolia Athletics Opens Spring Season with Dominant Performances Across Multiple Sports
Magnolia, Arkansas — Magnolia Athletics launched the 2026 spring season in impressive fashion with major wins and championship performances across softball, baseball, track, and soccer.
Lady Panther Softball
On Thursday, February 26, the Lady Panthers opened their season with a strong benefit game victory over the El Dorado Lady Wildcats, 6–1. The team combined solid pitching, timely hitting, and strong defensive play to secure the win.
Panther Baseball
Panther Baseball also competed on February 26 in two 4-inning benefit games against Maumelle, sweeping both contests:
Game 1: 6–4 victory
Game 2: 4–1 victory
The Panthers showcased depth on the mound and consistency at the plate to begin their season undefeated.
Panther & Lady Panther Track – Hog Relays Champions
Both the Panther and Lady Panther Track teams competed in the Roy “Doc” Walker Hog Relays, with both teams winning the overall meet championships.

Numerous additional top finishes from Claire Owen, Presley Hanson, Sommer Miller, Avah Ford, Arianna Hamilton, Drea Stanley, Nateyona Hunter, and DaKaylia Davis helped secure the team championship.

Soccer Season Opens Strong in Texarkana
On Friday, February 27, both Panther and Lady Panther Soccer opened their season in Texarkana.
The Lady Panthers delivered an impressive statement win, defeating the Lady Razorbacks 6–0 to begin their season in dominant fashion.
With championship track finishes and undefeated starts in softball, baseball, and girls' soccer, Magnolia Athletics has launched the spring season with excitement and momentum.
