Magnolia High School Varsity Dance Team Earns 5th Place National Finish at National Dance Team Championship

Magnolia, Arkansas — The Magnolia High School Varsity Dance Team delivered an outstanding performance on the national stage, earning a 5th-place finish in the nation at the National Dance Team Championship held in Orlando, Florida, from January 30 through February 1.

The team competed against some of the best dance programs in the country during round one of preliminary competition, performing in both Hip Hop and Game Day Dance categories. After an intense and highly competitive prelims round, Magnolia’s Hip Hop routine advanced to the semi-finals, showcasing the dancers’ talent, energy, and precision.

Following a strong semi-final performance, the Varsity Dance Team earned a coveted spot in the finals, where they achieved an extraordinary Top 5 national finish, placing 5th overall in the nation.

“This accomplishment reflects the dedication, discipline, and passion of these student-athletes,” said Emily Barker, Varsity Dance Coach. “We are incredibly proud of how they represented Magnolia High School on a national level.”
