School Board Member Recognition Month

As Arkansas celebrates School Board Member Appreciation Month, the Magnolia School District would like highlight each board member for the service they provide to the students and community members of the District.  Today we spotlight Board Member, Caroline Waller.


Caroline is a 2002 graduate of Magnolia High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Arkansas in 2007. Caroline is an active member of First United Methodist Church, where she currently serves on the Trustees Committee and in the Children’s Ministry. She also served in various organizations in Columbia County: United Way Board—Past President; Partners in Education—Past Vice-President; and Magnolia Junior Charity League— Past Vice-President. She is married to Jamie Waller, a 1999 Magnolia graduate, and they have one daughter, Sloane, who is a student in the Magnolia School District. When asked why she enjoys serving on the Magnolia School Board she states, “I enjoy serving, because I want to ensure ALL children in our district have access to high-quality education and career pathways. Improving the lives of the children in our community is at the core of why I serve.”
