🏕 Meet Mrs. Lindsey Roberson – Kindergarten – Camping Room ✨

👨👩👧👦Family: Mrs. Roberson is married to Brad (MHS Class of 1999). They have a daughter, Aubrey (8 years), who is in 2nd grade at East Side, and a son, Weston (3 years). ❤️
👊🏻Personal Philosophy: “I always start my day with a spark, and rushing around to get everyone out of the house on time (which can be a challenge). I make sure that I greet each student in the morning with a smile on my face, no matter how crazy the morning has been. I try to make sure that not only my personal children know, but also my school children... everyone makes mistakes, and we learn from them. Also, that even when you make mistakes it doesn't change the way I love and care about you.” 📚
👏🏻What she loves most about East Side: “I love my co-workers, they are a fun group to work with! Great friendships have been formed, and they are always there to pitch in when you need help. The students also make the Kindergarten Center a great place. They are so eager to share things with you, and their excitement about things can be contagious.”👩🏻🏫
✂️ Hobbies: “I love to scrapbook. I have been to several scrapbook camps and I have recently started to bake more.” 🧑🏻🍳
🍪 She would love to learn: “How to get better at cookie decorating and I am working on it now!”
🏈 Something that might surprise people: “That I was a majorette in high school, and I would love to live at the beach.”🏖
🗝Educational Philosophy: “If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.I try to live by this in my classroom, it is not always that the student didn't catch on to the concept, it may have been the way I presented it.” 🗝
⛺️Mrs. Roberson has been in education for 14 years. She spent the first 8 years teaching 3rd grade at East Side. The past 6 years have been at the Kindergarten Center. We are proud to have Mrs. Roberson on our Kindergarten team! Her students are blessed to spend their days with her! ⛺️
