We LOVE Music at East Side and we LOVE Ms. King! We think you will too!
"Hello! I’m Jaymee King and I’m the new music teacher! I graduated from Magnolia High School and Southern Arkansas University. I love being able to teach in the town that raised me and give back to my community. I am the pianist at my church, Full Faith, and a mother to my one-year-old, Clara! Performing and teaching music is my passion and the students have been sharing that passion with me. I am so excited to be at East Side!"

"My name is Cait Light, and I am one of two new teachers at the Kindergarten! I am a recent graduate of SAU and this is my first year teaching. I decided that I love Magnolia too much to leave, so I was very happy to accept a job at the Magnolia School District. Teaching Kindergarten is my dream job and I am loving every bit of it with my sweet kiddos. I am looking forward to watching them learn and grow throughout the rest of the school year!"
Parents:
We need your help to limit the spread of COVID-19 as we enter this school year. PLEASE keep your child at home if they are showing any symptoms such as, runny nose, congestion, headache, fever, dizziness, and fatigue. We understand these may be common symptoms for this time of year, but out of extreme caution, we ask that you please keep your child home if they are sick.
WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE, MRS. HOWELL!
"Hi there! My name is Jasmine Howell! I’m married to my wonderful husband, Mikie, and we are expecting our first child, Ivy Joanna, in November! This is my first year teaching first grade. I love being a part of the East Side family and love working with my Explorers!"

Even though Mrs. Torres has been with us since last November, we can officially welcome her to the SECOND GRADE team! WELCOME HOME!
"Hey! I’m Sydnee Torres! I was born and raised in Magnolia, so I have always been a Panther! I am so excited to begin my career at what feels like home! The image that best describes me has to be my giant and growing family! ❤️"

Help us WELCOME Mr. Antonio Joshua to our custodial team and East Side family! He has done a fantastic job keeping up with our ever changing needs to keep our staff and students safe! He is quick to help where needed and is great with the kiddos! We are so happy he is HOME!

We are excited to welcome Rebecca Sandusky as our East Side office intern! She is a senior at MHS, involved in her youth group at Central Baptist Church, and is taking several AP classes! We are excited to have her here with us!
