The Magnolia Junior High School hosted their 2019 Science Fair on Monday, December 9. This annual event has ninth grade students competing for category awards as well as the Overall and Runner-up Science Fair winner awards. Students placing first, second, or third in each category are eligible to compete at the Regional Science Fair. The Regional Fair will be held on the campus of Southern Arkansas University on March 8, 2020.

The team project of Collin Kelly and Braden Fort was crowned the overall winner of the 2019 MJHS Science Fair. Then ninth grade students produced a project called, “Best Fly Trap.”

The runner-up award went to Leighton Daniels, with his project, “Diabetics Beware.”
