Panther COVID-19 Closure

In light of Gov. Hutchinson’s announcement today regard school closing due to COVID-19, Magnolia Public Schools will be closed beginning Monday, March 15, 2020. As of now, classes will resume Monday, March 30, 2020.

Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) is ready and assignments for each campus is on our website. A direct link to AMI assignments is on the district web page in the news release section. For those parents who may not have access to internet, printed copies will be available for students at each campus to pick up. In addition, packets will available as we distribute meals for students throughout the community. Printed copies of the assignments may also be picked up on the individual campuses from 1:00-3:00 on Monday, March 16.

We plan to continue food services, at least, throughout the week of March 16-20. Specific plans for distribution will be finalized Monday morning.

All faculty and staff need to report tomorrow to ensure we have met the needs of all our kids and to assist with a deep disinfecting of our facilities.

We appreciate your patience during this time.
